Here’s a guide to the most iconic buildings in New York City, that are a must-see for visitors and locals.

Standing at 1,454 feet, it offers breathtaking views of the city from its observation decks. You can literally see the building while walking through midtown Manhattan, it’s a show stopper!
2. Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is one of New York’s most iconic structures. Located on Liberty Island, this colossal statue was a gift from France and symbolizes freedom and democracy. Visitors can take a ferry to Liberty Island and even climb to the crown for a unique perspective of the city and harbor. I am still in awe when I see the Lady Liberty from afar. It has this romantic spirit of Freedom and inspiration of fighting for our dreams.
3. One World Trade Center
One World Trade Center, also known as the Freedom Tower, is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan. Standing at 1,776 feet, it is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and the United States of America. This modern skyscraper is a symbol of resilience and hope, after the attack of the Twin Towers in 2001. The skyscraper has an observatory with panoramic views of The City.
4. Chrysler Building
The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco icon located in the Turtle Bay neighborhood on the East Side of Midtown Manhattan. Completed in 1930, its distinctive spire and ornamentation, including the famous eagle gargoyles, make it a standout in the New York skyline. It’s my favorite building to watch.
5. Rockefeller Center
Rockefeller Center is a complex of 19 commercial buildings between 48th and 51st Streets in Midtown Manhattan. Known for its Christmas tree, ice skating rink, and Radio City Music Hall, it’s a hub of activity year-round. The Top of the Rock observation deck offers stunning views of the city, especially Central Park and the Empire State Building. Walking around the area is so entertaining and it’s a focal point for commerce and tourism.
6. Flatiron Building
The Flatiron Building, with its distinctive triangular shape, is a quintessential New York City landmark. Located at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Broadway, this early skyscraper, completed in 1902, is an example of Renaissance Revival architecture. It’s a favorite subject for photographers and a symbol of the city’s innovative spirit. I love this Building, it has a modern shape very innovative for the time it was built. Beautiful!

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, is a masterpiece of modern architecture. Its unique spiral design stands out on Fifth Avenue, providing a contrast to the traditional buildings nearby. Inside, it houses an impressive collection of modern and contemporary art. The building is an art piece itself.
9. Brooklyn Bridge
Connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Bridge is an engineering marvel and one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States. It screams “I am in New York City”.
